Leo O'Neill, the former president of Standard & Poor's, passed away this morning.

Leo O'Neill, the former president of Standard & Poor's, passed away this morning. O'Neill, a 36-year veteran of the firm and a well-known veteran of the fixed-income industry, had been ill for quite some time and was planning to retire at the end of the month. His death comes just days after Kathleen Corbet, who recently was named as his successor, started at S&P earlier this week.
