RBC Capital Markets' high-yield salesmen and traders moved last week from its Greenwich, Conn., office to New York. The group consists of 31 high-yield traders, salesmen and research employees and they have joined the RBC Dain Rauscher fixed-income group in New York, according to Chris Pepper, spokesman. He explained the RBC Capital Markets group is being folded into the RBC Dain Rauscher fixed-income team and it makes sense to have the group in one location.
Pepper said no layoffs have resulted and there has been no shifting of titles though the group now operates under the RBC Dain Rauscher name. RBC Capital Market's high-yield banking and leveraged finance operations still work out of its Greenwich office.
