J.P. Morgan has named John Rickert to head its European commercial mortgage-backed securities group. Rickert, who works in the firm's New York CMBS group and focuses on large loans, will relocate to London soon. He did not return calls. The group was previously headed by Leonard Van Drunen, who left the bank several months ago.
Separately, Clive Bull, v.p., a senior European CMBS executive, is no longer a part of the CMBS group but remains a part of the real estate structured finance group. His new duties could not be identified. Bull has worked in CMBS for more than a decade and previously was based in New York. He did not return calls.
