The prospects for biofuel production are bright, with demand ripening nicely as countries chase new energy sources and reduced carbon emissions. Stock prices in the edible oil manufacturers of Asia's chief exporters, Malaysia and Indonesia, are likely to soar, but adversely it will probably mean further flagrant deforestation.
