INDIA - Tata's global ambitions show no sign of abating
The chairman of Tata Group has invested 15 years developing his firm into a single brand entity recognisable the world over. Criticised by some for investing more outside of India than within, the untiring 71-year-old confesses his fears that bureaucratic hurdles will hinder his homeland but pledges to continue his acquisition spree. Telecoms and retail remain the conglomerate's biggest tests, along with the issue of just who will succeed Ratan Tata. Elliot Wilson reports.
