Goldman perceived as partial in Asiamoney's Brokers Poll
The US bank was voted top for having the least independent research brokerage in the region in our Brokers Poll - for the sixth year running. Respondents flagged its readiness to issue research on companies in which it has a stake, raising questions about potential conflicts of interest. Although not alone, it is a blemish on the face of one of the industry's smartest operators. Richard Morrow reports.
