Reed gets its forward start
Reed Elsevier, the Anglo-Dutch publisher, has signed its $2bn forward start facility, with a big majority of banks recommitting. Nineteen of about 22 existing lenders agreed to extend part of a $3bn revolver, which matures in May 2010, for another two years. The deal is the latest of several forward starts to be signed in Europe since the start of the year.
