February wipe-out looms for corporate bonds

Another week, and only one other deal to date in the corporate bond market. This time French electrical retailer Legrand (-/BBB/BBB), is set to price a Eu300m seven year issue at 135bp over mid-swaps. But bankers are anxious about the rest of February drawing a blank, as few other borrowers appear to be lining up to issue in the next week.
