UK equity raisings gain new momentum
The recapitalisation of UK companies continued apace this week when property business Liberty International on Tuesday priced an accelerated bookbuild that raised £620m. Private equity group 3i plans a rights issue which could amount to £700m according to reports and a capital increase of up to £300m by electronic retailer DSG International is seen as likely.
