EDF breaks through to 20 year mark

EDF was set to push maturity boundaries in the European corporate bond market even further this week with a 20 year issue in euros on Wednesday, after Czech utility Cez and Deustche Telekom recently priced the first 15 year corporate transactions in six months. Crédit Agricole, Natixis and Société Générale are leading the deal, EDF’s first in euros this year after it managed to raise 30 year money in the US earlier this year. Find out in EuroWeek on Friday if more borrowers are thinking of tapping into a surge of investor demand at the longer end of the market.
