Pru banks turn to retail for $5.4bn hybrid sale
Retail investors and not just institutional buyers could be targeted by underwriters selling down their portion of $5.4bn of hybrid debt to be issued by Prudential later this year, said sources close to the financing this week. The Pru had said in its prospectus that the bonds would be targeted at institutional investors.
