Short end still popular with investors
There were fears last week that the shorter end of the maturity curve was becoming overcrowded. These fears seemed to be unfounded this week, as another batch of two and three year fixed and floating issues proved popular with investors. Deals from Nordea, Unicredit, Milennium BCP and Skandinanska Enskilda Banken all hit the two year sweet spot and performed well.
