Europe reopens for structured sales

Inflation, CMS and equity-linked deals this week proved that the European structured note market is finally open again after months of near-dormancy. Among recent deals, Merrill printed a self-led inflation issue, Bank of Ireland sold a CMS switcher and the European Investment Bank continued to plug equity-linked notes to the Italian retail market.
