Banks circle LBO mandates

A few new leveraged buyouts are on the horizon this week, such as the potential sale of frozen foods company Findus Italy and Mid Europa’s upcoming sale of Invitel International, and loan bankers are gearing up to win mandates on the financings. Private equity firm Cinven, meanwhile, is one step closer to completing its refinancing of its all-equity purchase of Sebia as it narrows the list of banks involved from eight to three, shortlisting BNP Paribas, Citi and Commerzbank.
