Dollar investors jump on GG names
European names chose dollars this week for their government guaranteed deals as moves from some US banks appeared to spell the imminent end of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp’s guarantee programme. Dexia Crédit Local attracted a $9bn book for its $4bn two year deal, while Swedbank is waiting to price its trade.
