Borrowers buoyant even as loans market sinks
The eurozone crisis continues to rock the investment grade loans market in Europe, with many participants gloomy about issuance prospects over the summer. But while bankers are pessimistic in the long-term, the message seems not to have yet reached all borrowers, some of whom remain confident that the success of recent five year transactions may mean that they can look at seven year funding.
