Spanish NPLs rocketing, may peak at 6.5% in second half
Non-performing loans across Spain’s financial system are soaring, according to second quarter results from Banco Sabadell and BankInter. NPL numbers at both institutions increased by almost 40% over the last year, while those at La Caixa also rose.
