Bank of Ireland comes to Swiss francs to beat euro funding
Books are open on Bank of Ireland’s debut Swiss franc transaction. The deal is a 2.5 year bond, guaranteed by the Irish Ministry of Finance. Indicative pricing for the bond is 230bp-235bp over mid-swaps, which would mean a coupon of 3%. The expected minimum size is Sfr200m, and Credit Suisse is sole lead.
