No chance of summer slowdown as corporates keep on coming
Corporate bond bankers had better cancel their summer holidays. The domination of the corporate bond market, and utility and energy firms in particular, continues with BG Energy Capital, Verbund and Suez Environment issuing four year, 10 year and 15 year transactions respectively. With deals worth Eu1.1bn priced on Tuesday alone and plenty of issuance in the pipeline still to come, the primary market still shows no signs of fading quietly into the summer.
