Halyk scores success in syndication
Syndication of the $200m loan for Kazakhstan’s Halyk Bank has closed oversubscribed in a triumph for the borrower, which has become the country’s first bank to manage a successful return to market since early 2007. But bankers are doubtful that this means a return to form for all Kazakh bank borrowers.
