Exeltium gets green light, Eu4bn loan planned

Exeltium, a project partnership between power group Electricité de France and other industrial groups operating electro-intensive sites in France, is planning to come to market for a for Eu4bn loan. The financing was mandated last year to BBVA, Citigroup, Natixis and Royal Bank of Scotland, but never launched after the European Union failed to give permission for the project, which it has now granted. The same being asked to fund the deal again, but so far no new mandate has been signed. Check www.euroweek.com for updates on the deal and others in the western European loan market.
