Citi leads banks back before September bottleneck
The senior financials market is heating up before a rush of expected deals in early September. Citi kicked the week off when it issued a £500m 2039 sterling deal at 335bp over Gilts, while Lloyds Banking Group is in the market today with a 10 year euro benchmark and WestLB is planning a three year deal.
