Billerud and Alapis ready rights issues in quiet markets
Greek regulators gave the go-ahead to a Eu451m rights issue for drugs firm Alapis this week, giving equity capital markets something to chew on as issuance volumes take slow at the end of a busy summer. Elsewhere, Swedish packaging firm Billerud set the terms of its Skr978m ($127m) rights issue on Tuesday, while in the UK bankers are discussing a possible £100m rights issue for UK housebuilder Redrow.
