RBS’s A$1.5bn signals Aussie appetite for single-A banks
Royal Bank of Scotland’s local unit tapped into buoyant demand from Australian dollar investors for financial credits this week, building a book for a three year fixed and floating rate dual tranche bond that grew to over four times the minimum deal size. The positive response allowed the UK bank to price its A$1.5bn offering inside guidance on Tuesday.
