NXP nixed on Nasdaq debut
Despite slashing its IPO valuation by almost a third, Dutch chip manufacturer NXP Semiconductors still traded down on its Nasdaq debut this week to send a negative signal to other European companies seeking equity capital in the US. The weak initial performance — down nearly 3% — also left ECM bankers fretting over European targeted deals.
