Balfour Beatty accelerates £353m rights issue after leak
Construction group Balfour Beatty brought forward the launch of a £353m rights issue to Thursday after details of the deal had leaked to the press the previous day. Together with the rights issue Balfour made public plans for the £380m acquisition of one of its US competitors.
