Qatari Diar cracks new Middle East asset class

A $25bn book for any bond is impressive. But when that kind of book is for an emerging market borrower, it is a special deal indeed. Qatari Diar managed that feat in July with the help of an explicit government guarantee. Francesca Young reports.
