FSA fines Goldman £17.5m for Abacus
The UK’s Financial Services Authority has fined Goldman Sachs International £17.5m for failing to inform it that the Securities and Exchange Commission was investigating it over its Abacus 2007-AC1 CDO. The investigation resulted in a $550m settlement in July.
