Canada delights in dollars after decade-long absence
Canada launched its first syndicated bond in a decade this week, and attracted demand of over $15bn for the $3bn five year issue. The pricing of mid-swaps less 15bp reflected the quality of the name with European Investment Bank and KfW both trading at plus 5bp/flat in five years.
