Afrexim to launch soon, but will it be one of the last?

Afreximbank is set to hit the market for the second time this year in the next two weeks. The borrower, which has just mandated 11 banks to lead a refinancing, could be one of the last of EMEA’s emerging market credits to launch before the end of the year. Bankers say at least one Russian company will tap the market in the coming weeks, but time is running out for borrowers wanting funds before 2010.
