Updated: Seadrill joins repeat convertible crew
Offshore oil rig operator Seadrill sold an upsized $650m convertible bond on Thursday, taking its equity linked outstandings up to $2.15bn after choosing a structure and price for the deal to overcome investors’ risk concentration issues. It still achieved its lowest ever coupon and highest conversion premium on a convertible.
