EM bulls tested by Kazakhstan’s KKB

The first international issue of bank debt from Kazakhstan after three years of capital markets exile is in prospect after Kazkommertsbank mandated JPMorgan and UBS to arrange a global investor tour. The deal, which bankers indicate could reach $750m, represents an important test of appetite for Kazakh risk and this year’s bull run in emerging market credit more generally.
