Crédit Agricole pulls off LT2 first

Crédit Agricole priced a well oversubscribed Eu1.25bn 10-1/2 year lower tier two self-led deal this week. Investors’ appetite for the structure, by which the deal converts into senior debt with a step-down if it loses regulatory capital, could pave the way for more issuance.
