Banks put fizz back into ABInBev rights issue
BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan revived InBev’s Eu6.36bn ($10bn) rights issue this week taking advantage of improving sentiment towards the Belgo-Brazilian brewer’s $52bn takeover of US rival Anheuser-Busch, to recycle Eu1.2bn ($1.55bn) of unwanted stock.
