Kookmin’s parent opens equity door for Asian financials
KB Financial Group, the holding company that controls South Korea’s Kookmin Bank, raised W400bn ($310m) by selling a 3.2% stake last Friday (December 12) in a deal bankers said was a precursor to a flow of financial sector issuance from Asia in 2009.
