SEC gives offshore ABS another year of freedom
The SEC has extended for another year the exemption for non-US issuers from compliance with Rule 17g-5, which requires an ABS issuer to disclose relevant information to all ratings agencies if the issuer is seeking a rating from a US ratings agency.
