Banco Popular opts for CM-CIC, retail convertible to boost capital
Spain’s Banco Popular will sell Eu179m of newly issued stock to Crédit Mutuel-CIC and Eu400m-Eu500m of mandatory convertible bonds to retail investors in a move to top up its core tier one capital, it said on Tuesday.
