Charges wipe out UBS’s FICC improvement
UBS posted net losses for the third quarter of Sfr564m, driven by Sfr2.15bn in accounting charges which were higher than expected. Despite incurring losses, the bank showed signs of improvement in its fixed income division for the first time in over a year and a half.
