Covered bond market in full swing
Corealcredit is in the market today (Wednesday) with a Eu500m four year mortgage Pfandbrief while Compagnie de Financement Foncier has launched a February 2012 obligations foncières, the shortest dated benchmark covered bond to hit the market this year. With Dexia Municipal Agency and Bankinter already having priced deals this week and a crop of mandates and roadshows being announced, the covered bond market looks set for more action over the coming weeks.
