Huaneng IPO cancelled after pricing war
Huaneng Renewables, the Chinese wind power company, cancelled its Hong Kong IPO at the end of last week, citing unexpected and excessive market volatility. Bankers away from the deal, however, said it did not draw enough demand to cover its books because it was too expensive.
