Investors’ concerns about Europe’s sovereign debt have damaged the prospects of numerous IPOs during a lacklustre year. But this week Norwegian insurance company Gjensidige Forsikring and Danish telecoms firm TDC raised almost $4bn in the sixth and seventh largest IPOs in EMEA this year.
