Cat bonds look to pre-Lehman levels
ILS buyers are flush with cash and ready to use it, which has pushed cat bond issue costs back down towards traditional reinsurance. At the same time, protection buyers are selling more risks into the market, moving away from US hurricanes and meeting ILS investor desire for diversification. 2011 could be a vintage year for the sector.
