Lithuania plans busy year in Eurobonds, prefunding likely
The Republic of Lithuania is close to choosing banks for its first international bond since last September, a key official confirmed. The deal will be one of at least two that will supply the majority of its Eu2bn funding programme this year, supplemented by private placements and domestic auctions. It may also pre-fund some of the Eu2bn it has falling due over the next two years.
