Bank Mandiri launches $1.6bn rights issue
Bank Mandiri, Indonesia’s biggest lending bank, is preparing a rights issue that could raise up to Rph14.4tr ($1.6bn). The deal will reduce the Indonesian government’s 66.7% stake in the company as the sovereign will not take up its rights entitlement and plans to sell the new shares.
