Hana share sale exceeds pricing expectations
South Korean lender Hana Financial beat equity bankers’ expectations this week when it priced a rare primary share offering above the provisional pricing level it had released last week. The $1.3bn-equivalent deal took the institution closer to raising the $4bn it needs to take over local rival Korea Exchange Bank.
