Blow-out Capio leads way in leveraged

Loans backing CVC’s takeover of Spanish healthcare company Capio Sanidad have been fully subscribed in the early-bird phase, boding well for levels of investor demand in the leveraged loan market early in 2011. No general syndication was necessary for the loans, which were worth Eu655m and included a Eu400m institutional tranche. Bankers said that many investors had missed out on the deal, which had margins 25bp above the norm.
