Dai-ichi gets big response to rare insurance capital
Japanese insurance company Dai-ichi Life Insurance raised $1.3bn of subordinated debt this week, selling a perpetual non-call 10 year bond that prepared it for new insurance regulations set to come into force next year, and helped bolster its plans to expand overseas.
