Bipiemme confirms Eu1.2bn cap hike
Banco Popolare di Milano confirmed plans for a rights issue on Wednesday after the Bank of Italy pressured the lender to raise capital. The size, though, surprised analysts with the bank announcing a Eu1.2bn deal rather than the Eu1bn or less that some had expected.
