Clariant rump seals Sfr368m rights issue success
Speciality chemicals company Clariant completed its Sfr368m rights issue to part fund the acquisition of Süd-Chemie on Monday with the closure of a Sfr175.9m rump placement. The one-for-10 at-the-market rights issue achieved a take-up of 12.02m new shares – around 52% of the total – leaving 10.99m new shares to be sold to new investors.
