Tata Power lines up hybrid, aims to follow Citic success

Tata Power, the biggest power producer in India, could be the next Asian corporation to sell hybrid bonds after picking three banks to arrange a series of meetings this week. The company is hoping to follow last week’s $750m deal from Citic Pacific that opened the international market for Asian hybrids this year after generating about $8.5bn of demand.
